DLA Land - Warren is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of supplying the Gyroscope, Rate (Gyro Block Assembly, Gun) for the M2 Infantry Fighting Vehicle. This is NOT a formal solicitation notice. This Sources Sought is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals.

3.0 Statement of Need

The Gyroscope, Rate (Gyro Block Assembly, Gun) is a critical component for the M2 Infantry Fighting Vehicle. This item requires specialized manufacturing capabilities.

4.0 Quality and Testing Requirements

• Quality Management System (QMS): Higher Level Contract Quality System requirement. Suppliers must possess a QMS certified to ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent.


• First Article Testing (FAT): FAT will be required. The FAT report is due within 180 days of contract award. FAT shall be conducted per the requirements outlined in TDP 12292348, and shall include inspection as defined in applicable Quality Assurance Provisions (QAPs).
