Scope of Services
It is the intent of this invitation for bid to engage with a successful Bidder(s) to purchase
transmission & substation structures for the Van Meter Substation based on a fixed price,
in accordance with the following specifications listed herein. It is understood that there
may be additions or deletions to the list specified herein during the life of this contract as
dictated by KUA’s service protocols. For specifications, please refer to Section 33 71 16.23 – Tubular Steel Structures
(Furnish) and Section 33 72 14 – Substation Steel Structures attached herein.
It is the intent of this invitation for bid to engage with a successful Bidder(s) to purchase
transmission & substation structures for the Van Meter Substation based on a fixed price,
in accordance with the following specifications listed herein. It is understood that there
may be additions or deletions to the list specified herein during the life of this contract as
dictated by KUA’s service protocols. For specifications, please refer to Section 33 71 16.23 – Tubular Steel Structures
(Furnish) and Section 33 72 14 – Substation Steel Structures attached herein.

| In the drawing "22-S-1021", there is only one Lightning Mast. It looks like LM1-LM6 is going to be the same Lightning Mast with different span . Can you verify with the client if we can design the Lightning mast with controlling/max span cases and quantity of 6? | 9/24/2025 8:16:32 AM | There is no wire between the lightning masts.
