Description

This is a non-personal service contract to provide Tests and Certification of Lightning Protection Systems on plant and equipment at Depot and Ammunition Storage Area locations of Camp Darby, Pisa, Italy as described in detail on the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The PWS will be posted along with the actual solicitation.



The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform services as described in the PWS and associated contract document. The Contractor shall perform inspection, ohms reading and continuity tests on all Lightning Protection Systems (LPS) and provide adequate certifications in accordance with European and American regulations. The Contractor shall also develop and maintain a Quality Control Plan (QCP) to ensure services are performed in accordance with (IAW) the PWS. The Contractor shall develop and implement procedures to identify, prevent, and ensure non-recurrence of defective services. The Contractor's QCP is the means by which it assures that the work provided complies with the requirements of the contract.



Location of the work: The service shall be performed at Camp Darby, Pisa, Italy.

Performance Period: The performance period will be BASE + 4 OPTION YEARS:

Base Year: 29 September 2025 – 28 September 2026

Option Year One: 29 September 2026 – 28 September 2027

Option Year Two: 29 September 2027 – 28 September 2028

Option Year Three: 29 September 2028 – 28 September 2029

Option Year Four: 29 September 2029 – 28 September 2030



Method of Contracting: This will be a Request for Quotation (RFQ) resulting in a Firm-Fixed Price Type Contract.

Funding: The requirement is not funded at this time.

Issuance of solicitation: The solicitation package together with the description of the service and additional information is anticipated to be posted in about two weeks.

Response date: The response date or proposal due date will be indicated on the actual Solicitation (RFQ W912PF-25-Q-A072)

Site visit/ pre-quote conference: A Site Visit or Pre-Quote Conference and Request for Information (RFI) will be indicated on the actual solicitation (RFQ W912PF-25-Q-A072)
