AMRAAM Risk Reduction

This notice serves as award notice for procurement of the Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) Risk Reduction Processor Upgrade for Mission Alliance Risk Reduction. This effort was awarded sole source to Raytheon Company (1151 E Hermans Road, P.O. Box 11337, Tucson, AZ 85734-1337) under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements (10 USC 2304(c)(1)). It was awarded using Cost Plus Fixed Fee due to the nature of the requirement.

The period of perfomance will be 30 months. The specific requirement includes activities required to reduce risk of integrating weapon system/missile variants with a future processor, to include software and hardware emulation, System Emulation, Subsystem Emulation, Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) familiarization, power familiarization, test equipment preparation, lab hardware, facility requirements, and program security operating plan.
