The 48th Contracting Squadron at Royal Air Force (RAF) Lakenheath, United Kingdom, seeks feedback from companies/entities capable of providing two (2) video borescopes to provide enchanced borescope inspection capabilities of Pratt & Whitney F100-220/229 jet engines. The borescopes must have Artificial Intelligence software capability for blade damage detection and all other minimum specifications as outlined in the salient characteristics, please see attached.
The following is requested from interested companies;
1. Please provide documentation that outlines the technical specifications for two (2) video borescopes, that meets the minimum specifications outlined in the SOW.
2. Please provide any other information that would need to be considered to provide a quote for this potential requirement.

This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions and FAR 10.001(a)(2)(ii) which requires conducting market research before soliciting offers for acquisition with an estimated value in excess of the simplified acquisition threshold. The Government is seeking industry's input to determine the availability of qualified sources with the technical capability to fulfill the requirement described above. No contract actions will be made from this notice and no solicitation is available on SAM.gov or any other public place at this time. In order to develop a sound acqusition strategy, early industry participation is highly encouraged; however, participation in this effort is strictly voluntary. All costs associated with responding to this sources sought will be solely at the interested party's expense. The Governement will not reimburse costs and will not be liable for any costs associated with response to this sources sought. Respondents will not be notified of the responses to this notice. Responses will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency.
