The Health and Human Services Commission (“Owner”), for and onbehalf of its Health and Specialty Care System Division (“HSCS”), is solicitingCompetitive Sealed Proposals (“Proposals”) for selection of a GeneralContractor (“Contractor”) to provide general construction and constructionadministration services to the Owner for Project No. 24-101-AUL Fire AlarmUpgrades – Fire Alarm Panel & Annunciators 533, 732, and Site (the“Project”), in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forthin this Solicitation.

This Solicitation is being issued to select a Contractor forthe Project under authority of Texas Government Code, Section 2155.144(b-2) andChapter 2269, Subchapter D.

Project Summary: The scope of work includes, but is notlimited to, the following:

Installation of new fire alarm system for building 533 and732. Demolition of old system. Installation of new underground fiber lines frombuildings to main security building. and other Work indicated in the ContractDocuments.

Project Estimate: The approximate cost for construction of theProject is $280,000.00.
