Description

Enclosed is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) Preventive Maintenance Service for Diesel Powered Electric Generators.



The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting a technically acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. We may also request clarification or best and final offers prior to award selection.



Site visit:



The Government is planning a site to inspect the generators and locations inside the emassy compound as per the below details:



Date: June 25, 2025



Time: 10:00 A.M.



Location: U.S. Embassy in Amman





Prospective offerors should register for the site visit by submitting company name, attendee’s names and identification numbers at AmmanRFQQuestions@state.gov no later than June 23 , 2025 at 15:00 P.M. (Amman Time GMT+3) to grant access access for the attendees into the U.S. Embassy compound. Only two representatives per company are allowed. Be sure to include RFQ 19J01025Q0024 in the subject line of your email.





HOW TO SUBMIT



To submit an offer or quotation, you must follow the instructions in Section 3 of the Solicitation; complete the required sections of the attached document(s); and submit a comprehensive offer package in a single email on or before the due date, according to the instructions below. Failure to follow any of the instructions will disqualify your proposal from being reviewed. Under no circumstances will late or incomplete packages be reviewed.








    1. Proposals/Offers are due on or before July 3rd, 2025, at 16:00

    2. All materials must be in English.

    3. Packages must be complete to be considered for award. Failure to complete or submit a required document or element will result in the offer being determined incomplete and will result in disqualification. You should carefully review the requirements in the full Solicitation as well as all supporting materials, to include this cover letter. Required materials typically include:








  • SF-1449

  • Section I, Pricing

  • Section 5 Representations and Certifications

  • Additional information as required in Section 3

  • Proof of SAM Registration



NOTE: Offerors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management)



database at https://www.sam.gov prior to submittal of their offer/proposal as prescribed under FAR 4.1102. Failure to be registered at time of proposal submission may deem the offeror’s proposal to be considered non-responsive and no further consideration will be given. Therefore, offerors are highly encouraged to register immediately if not already.






    1. The Subject Line of your email must include your company name and the Solicitation number. Example: 19J01025Q0015 – ABC Company.

    2. Attachments must be in Word, Excel, and/or PDF format suitable for printing. The file size should not exceed 20MB. For larger files, the submission must be made in multiple emails with less than 20MB each. In this instance, more than one email will be accepted, however you must clearly indicate the total number of emails submitted as part of the package. Failure to do so could mean the full package is not processed for review. Example: 19J01025Q0015 – ABC Company – 1 of 2 emails

    3. Offers/Proposals should be submitted in a single email and must be directed to AmmanRFQ@state.gov. Do not submit offers directly to individuals or other mailboxes.
