IFB - 260011040 - Mayo Island Improvements - Demolition Project

The City of Richmond, Virginia (the "City"), on behalf of the Department of Public Utilities ("DPU"), seeks bids from qualified firms for general construction services related to the demolition of certain buildings (the "Project"). The Project will entail demolishing existing structures (including buildings, pavement, electrical lines, tree removal) and performing site restoration measures (collectively the "Work). Further details regarding the Work are more particularly described below in the Statement of Work.

The Mayo Island demolition project is intended to remove existing obsolete and deteriorated structures in order to prepare the site for future redevelopment as public green park space. This Project represents a critical first step in transforming Mayo Island into a safe, accessible, and environmentally resilient area that supports recreation, ecological restoration, and public use.
