GARDEN CITY, WAYNE COUNTY, MICHIGAN

2026 SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT PROGRAM


The one-year project consists of replacing deficient sidewalks throughout Garden City bounded by Ford, Venoy, Warren and Merriman (see attached map).  The anticipated start date, weather

permitting, is May 11, 2026 and substantially completed by November 27, 2026.


SEALED BIDS will be accepted at the Office of the City Clerk, 6000 Middlebelt, Garden

City, MI 48135. Bid must be clearly labeled “2026 SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT PROGRAM”


Two (2) copies of the bid proposals shall be submitted to:

Deadline: 10:00 am (est) on Monday, April 13, 2026.

Bids shall be publicly opened and read.

The deadline for Request for Information (RFI) is Wednesday, April 8, 2026, 10 a.m. EST.

The OWNER reserves the right to waive any information or to reject any and/or all bids.  Bidders may not withdraw their bid within 60 days after the date of bid opened.


The OWNER and ENGINEER will further assess the bids based on the following criteria.

2.  SIMILAR PAST PROJECT EXPERIENCE

3.  ABILITY TO RESPOND PROMPTLY WHEN NEEDED
