The City of Lynchburg is requesting bids for the demolition of the existing dry stacked stone retaining wall located at 515 13th Street in Lynchburg, Va. The contractor must rebuild the wall in accordance with the project drawings, typical wall sections, and City of Lynchburg Manual of Specifications. The wall varies in height with a maximum height of approximately five feet from finishedgrade on the exposed side of the wall. Estimated total wall to be repaired is 300 square feet. There are no known utility lines located behind the retaining wall. Please refer to general note 27 on drawing T-1 for any questions regarding the closing of 13th Street during construction for parking and equipment staging.
