Transit Buses

Project Description: SCOPE: The NFTA requests proposals for the manufacture and delivery of buses that utilize diesel fuel or compressed natural gas (CNG), a conventional or hybrid transmission, and an optional trolley replica package. A proposal must include related spare components, training, manuals, and warranty in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in this RFP.

Proponents must refer to the "Solicitation Schedule" posted in the RFP Document for event due dates and times.
PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE: A pre-proposal conference will be held on October 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM EDT.
Proponents must register to attend. To register, please email the Designated Procurement Official by October 25, 2024 at 11:00 AM EDT and indicate if you will be attending in-person or via MS TEAMS.
The prospective contractor is required to become familiar with the work covered by this contract prior to submitting a proposal.
REQUESTS FOR CLARIFICATION/QUESTION DUE DATE (SEE BELOW): All Requests for Clarification/Questions must be emailed to the Designated Procurement Official by the specified due date using Form #1- "Request for Clarification". Requests for Clarification/Questions should not be submitted through the Bonfire portal.
Due Date for Questions/Requests for Clarification Prior to Pre-Proposal Conference: October 25, 2024, 11:00 AM EDT RFC’s must be submitted to the NFTA Contracting Officer per the “prior to the Pre-Proposal Meeting” RFC Due Date and Time. RFC’s submitted by the RFC Due Date and Time will be discussed at the pre-proposal meeting. Form #1 - “Request for Clarification” must be completed and submitted for each question or clarification. Requests must be submitted by email to the Designated Procurement Official.

CORRESPONDANCE: All correspondence (addendums, requests for information/clarification, BAFO requests, and award notifications) will be sent through the Bonfire portal.

For successful questionnaire and /or Bid/Table template uploads, please ensure you are using Microsoft Office/Excel/Word 2007 or newer.
The Questionnaire template can take a significant amount of time to prepare and can only be filled out with Microsoft Office Excel. If you attempt to fill it out with any other software (even software that exports in .xlsx format), you will receive an error when attempting to upload your file.
