Project Description: NOTICE TO BIDDERS
BOROUGH OF MARCUS HOOK
Sealed bids will be received by the Borough of Marcus Hook online via the PennBid Program at www.PennBid.Bonfirehub.com until 10:00 AM, on October 22, 2025, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud at their meeting on October 28, 2025 at 6:00 PM for the Bid of Marcus Hook Williamson Field & Haebel Plaza Stormwater Water-Quality Improvements Project.

All Bid Documents, Construction Plans and Specifications will be available online via the PennBid Program at www.PennBid.Bonfirehub.com at no cost to prospective bidders.

The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay PennBid Program a fee of 1/3% of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $150.00 and a maximum of $6,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through PennBid and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid.

A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to the Borough of Marcus Hook, must accompany each bid.

Attention of Bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid package, particularly to the PA Prevailing Wage Rates, Public Works Employment Verification Form Non-Disclosure Clause, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirements for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price.

The Borough of Marcus Hook reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids thereof, and waive any informalities in the bidding, as they deem in the interest of the Borough.
