Separate, sealed bids will be received for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the construction of the aforementioned project.

Bids will be received by the Coweta County Board of Commissioners, Coweta County Georgia, herein referred to as “Owner”. Bid documents may be purchased at the Coweta County Public Works Office, 70 Selt Road, Newnan, GA until 10:45 AM (local time) on December 5, 2025. Bids must be received by 11:00 AM (local time) on December 5, 2025, at the Coweta County Administration Office, 22 East Broad Street, Newnan, GA. After such time on the same day, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Commission Chambers at 37 Perry Street, Newnan, GA. Bids received after the designated time will not be considered. Bids shall be clearly marked and sealed.

The Major Items of Work Consist of:

1.        Traffic Control;

2.        Grading

3.        Base and Paving

4.        Thermoplastic Striping

Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in the best interest of the County.

Work is as specified in the Bid Document and project plans and is to be done in accordance with current GDOT standards, specifications, supplemental specifications, and special provisions, if applicable.

The Instruction to Bidders, form of Bid, form of Contract, Drawings, forms of Bid Bond, Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and other contract documents are available for review at the Coweta County Public Works office located at 70 Selt Road, Newnan Georgia, 30263 (770-683-7623). Bid Documents and Specifications may be obtained at the above address for the cost of $50.00 each for digital plans and $150 each for printed plan sets.

No bid will be accepted from a bidder who has not obtained a set of bid documents from Coweta County Public Works. No bid will be accepted from a bidder who does not meet the pre-qualification requirements outlined in paragraph B.01.
