Project Description:
State University of New York College New Paltz will receive sealed Proposals for Bid# C2406 Term Contract for Plumbing/Mechanical 2025 for time and material type work and services for Plumbing/Mechanical 2025, until 2:00 p.m. Local Time on January 10, 2025 , in which submission of two original executed copies of the Bid Form per trade and all attachments specified in the Project Manual are required in a sealed envelope marked accordingly. Sealed bids shall be submitted and mailed or delivered to SUNY New Paltz, 1 Hawk Drive, New Paltz, NY 12561, Attention: Elissa E Greene. Bids will be opened publicly. For each proposal submitted, the following information will be read aloud: 1) name of contractor; 2) trade for which they are bidding; and 3) The markup percentages entered on the Bid Form. SUNY New Paltz will review all bids and verify accuracy of minimum qualifications and submission of all required documents. Bidders will be formally notified of the official results in writing within one week from the bid opening.
The term contract will be signed with selected contractor for the specified period of time to engage and complete numerous defined projects. Each separate project will be called a “RELEASE”. The Term Contract will be issued for a period of Three years.
There is no site visit.
Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders including completed Bid Form, proof of Minimum Qualification, New York State Finance Law §§139-j and 139-k, Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority and women?owned business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are required to make a good faith effort to meet M/WBE goals as follows: 0% MBE and 0% WBE, 10% minority workforce and 10% female workforce, and SDVOB Goal 0%.
The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
In compliance with the Procurement Lobbying Act signed into law by Governor Pataki in August 2005, and effective January 1, 2006, permissible contact by an Offeror in relation to any specific procurement in excess of $15,000 should be made only with authorized personnel of SUNY New Paltz who are designated as the contact person(s), i.e. the designated Contacts. For this IFB, those contact person(s) shall be: Elissa E. Greene, Contract Administrator, 845 257-3309, or E-mail: greenee@newpaltz.edu . The restricted period for this procurement is defined as: December 20, 2024 until final contract approval by SUNY New Paltz, Attorney General or the Office of the State Comptroller as may be required.
Contractor should arrive early so that you can purchase a parking ticket. All visitors who park on the SUNY New Paltz campus must display a valid Visitor Parking Permit on the vehicle's dashboard or hanging from the rear view mirror, Monday - Friday between 6:30 am - 6:30 pm. Visitor permits are $3.00 and can be obtained from the Welcome Center in the Haggerty Administration lobby and the Parking Office in HAB 35 Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 5 pm (summer hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm). Park & Pay machines are located in the entrance of Rt. 32 Lot #28, West entrance located on Hawk drive, off Rt. 208 and Lot 5 adjacent to Parker Theater. A Visitor Permit is valid for the date of purchase only. ( View our campus map. ) Day passes purchased from the Park & Pay machines are date-stamped for 24 hours from purchase time. They must be purchased each day if necessary, and cannot be pre-brought. Visitor permits allow visitors to park in any lot on campus EXCEPT for resident student lots.
