BID REQUEST - ROAD RESURFACING

Harris County is accepting sealed written bids for the resurfacing of Six (6) county roads, a total distance of 11.26 miles to include traffic control, tack, leveling, turnouts, asphalt, shoulder work, grassing and striping. The bid package, which includes details and bid forms that must be used to submit a bid, and can be obtained by contacting Tammy Cantrell, Executive Assistant, via e-mail at tcantrell@harriscountyga.gov using the subject line ¿Bid - LMIG Roads 2026 and LRA Supplement 2025". Mandatory pre-bid conference will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the conference room of Mike Brown Public Works Facility, 215 Water Oak Way, Hamilton, GA. Project is to be completed by June 30, 2026, and must conform to GDOT specs. Bids shall be sealed, bear the notation ¿BID: LMIG ROADS 2026 and LRA Supplement 2025", be addressed to the attention of Tammy Cantrell, and be received at Mike Brown Public Works Facility, 215 Water Oak Way, Hamilton, GA 31811, by 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a bid bond, cashier¿s or certified check, in an amount equal to 5% of the total bid. This bid bond will be returned to bidders when the project is awarded. The successful bidder will be required to submit a 100% payment bond and a 100% performance bond. Payments to contractors will be made in periodic draws as submitted by the contractor. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure that their bid arrives at the proper location by the time and date indicated. Harris County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
