Pixie Trail Landslide #1 Slope Repair project occurs along a portion of the Pixie Trail located within the Homestead Valley Land Trust (HVLT), west of the access trail off of Cape Court, in Mill Valley, Marin County, California. The project will stabilize earth movement which occurred during heavy rainfall in 2022/2023. The project includes removal of landslide debris and installation of rock-filled gabion baskets to stabilize the slope and to repair the portion of the trail that is undermined. The project will also include two RSP aprons and a new 18” CMP pipe assembly replacement. Mitigation plan dimensions are approximately 10 feet wide by 70 feet long; average depth (thickness) of repair is approximately 7 feet.
