1. Does RFP No. 26-28 require the successful vendor to utilize a purpose-built armored
vehicle/armored truck for the daily courier route, or may a licensed armed courier perform the
services utilizing a company-owned insured vehicle that meets all applicable requirements?
a. A purpose-built armored vehicle/armored truck is not required. A licensed armed
courier may utilize a company-owned insured vehicle that meets all applicable
requirements.
2. Can you please verify the current vendor and how long they have serviced this account?
a. There is no current armed courier vendor servicing the Clerk & Recorder's Office.
3. Can you please let us know what the current total monthly and annual costs are?
a. N/A
4. Can you please describe any issues you are experiencing that would be helpful for a new
vendor to correct?
a. Daily armed courier service is needed to safely transport cash, coin, and/or sensitive
documents between locations and the bank while providing protection from theft, loss,
or armed robbery.
5. In the last year, can you please let us know how many missed pickups have occurred for any
reason at any of the locations?
a. N/A - Staff of the Clerk & Recorder's Office are currently conducting daily transport.
6. Inside the Historic Court House, can you please let us know the name of the department,

7. Are the armored car messengers able to carry a firearm inside of the Court House?
a. By local ordinance in Pueblo County, it is strictly unlawful for any person to openly
carry a firearm or deadly weapon within county buildings (owned and/or leased);
however, contractual exemptions are permitted for private couriers who are actively
contracted by Pueblo County.
8. Do the Motor Vehicle Drive-Thru and Motor Vehicle West Office locations receive incoming
change orders from Vectra Bank and or the Court House?
a. Yes
9. What are the hours of operations for each location?
a. Motor Vehicle Historic Courthouse: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
b. Motor Vehicle Pueblo West: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
c. Motor Vehicle Drive Thru: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
d. Vectra Bank Pueblo Downtown: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
10. Can you please let us know the estimated pickup amount for each location?
a. Amounts vary but the estimated pick up from the Historic Courthouse (Motor Vehicle)
on the high end is approximately $40,000. Pickups from the satellite offices are
typically under $10,000.
11. Do all locations use plastic one-time use tamper-evident bags with a serial number?
a. The Clerk & Recorder's Office uses plastic one-time use tamper-evident bags with a
serial number for deposits in addition to locking canvass zipper bags.
12. Can the City of Pueblo pay invoices via ACH?
a. Pueblo County can pay invoices via ACH
