WFD works collaboratively with key stakeholders in Child Intervention and DFNAs to provide learning and development opportunities that align with needs and practice initiatives that prepare staff to meet the demands of their respective roles.

WFD supports the learning and development needs of Child Intervention Practitioners (CIPs); Regional and Provincial Kinship, Foster and Permanency Caregivers (Caregivers); and CICIO users. CIPs, Caregivers and CICIO users provide services to vulnerable children, youth and families in Alberta under the Child Youth & Family Enhancement Act (CYFEA).
