Project Description:

Cold frame 24’x 60’ with 6’ sidewalls, ALL galvanized steel frame.

2 rows of 1 5/8 pipe columns with arch connectors spaced every 6 feet roll formed arch
settings every 6’ of length, 5 rows of purlins, 4 rows of standard side girts, Steel
end wall assemblies, One 4’x6’ 8” swing door, Fabric locking device for bottom of
screen house, Alum end combos, Vinipet base & spring Poly locking device for the
perimeter of the roof & Enclosed with an insect screen / poly film roof

Special Instructions

1. All items must be NEW and UNUSED. Used or refurbished items will NOT be considered.

2. The quotation must include all transportation, shipping, handling, insurance,
administrative support costs, delivery and installation charges, expediting fees, freight,
and all applicable taxes.

3. Note to offerors: An acceptable quotation must conform to this Request for Quotation in
all material respects. Any of the following may be grounds for disqualification:

(a) Take exception to any of the specifications, terms, or conditions in the RFQ

(b) Placing conditions on the furnishing of solicited goods or services

(c) Inclusion of a quotation or order form containing additional specifications, terms, or
conditions

(d) Referencing external documents containing additional specifications, terms, or
conditions

(e) Failure to follow directions and instructions in the RFQ.

4. Under HRS 103D-310(c), for all quotes equal to $2,500 or more, the vendor must provide
proof of compliance with all laws governing entities doing business in the State of
Hawaii. Vendors shall obtain a copy of their “Certificate of Vendor Compliance” via
Hawaii Compliance Express (https://vendors.ehawaii.gov/hce/splash/welcome.html).

5. The vendor receiving the award is required to provide the following documentation
before the purchase order is issued:

(1) Signed SuperQUOTE Award Notice

(2) Certificate of Vendor Compliance

(3) Third Party Agreement

It is the responsibility of all bidders to review the attachment to this Request for
Quotation. Submission of a bid confirms a bidder has carefully examined this document
and agrees to the University of Hawaii\\\\\\\'s terms & conditions.
