Box 257, Lake Stevens, WA 98258 until 1:00 PM., local time, on July 15, 2026, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the due date and time may not be considered. Bidders shall submit 1 Original of the bid proposal in a sealed envelope labeled with the bidder’s name, address, request for bid number (24012) and title (Bayview Trail Improvements).
The project includes constructing a paved trail, roadway and sidewalk widening, installation of ADA-compliant curb ramps, installation of storm drainage and dispersion facilities, striping, and utility adjustments. The project will take place within the City of Lake Stevens near 8709 8th St. SE. An optional pre-bid site walk will be held on July 8, 2026, at 11:00 A.M onsite.
The Engineer’s Estimate for this project is $850,000. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond (with an authorized surety company as surety) made payable to the City of Lake Stevens in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a bid proposal deposit.
The City of Lake Stevens reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any immaterial irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw its bid after the hour set for the opening thereof or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period of sixty (60) days.
