The proposed reservoir will be supplemented by pumping water from the North Oconee River. Approximately 8,300 linear feet of raw water main will be required from the intake and pump station located at the North Oconee River to the proposed reservoir. The proposed dam will have a maximum height of approximately 97 feet above the existing stream channel and a crest length of approximately 1,170 feet. The construction of this embankment is expected to require on the order of 500,000 cubic yards of zoned earth fill. The earthen embankment dam will also include the construction of an internal drainage system consisting of a chimney drain, trench drain and blanket drain. The principal spillway will consist of a 91-foot-tall reinforced concrete riser, 4 feet by 7-½ feet in interior plan dimensions, with a 420-foot-long prestressed concrete cylinder
