RFP No.: RCH123919-0526Project: Goochland DDI (123919) Project Specific CEI ServicesDescription: The Virginia Department of Transportation is seeking expressions of interest from consulting engineering firms who wish to be considered to provide Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services for the construction phase of the I-64/Rte 623 Goochland County Diverging Diamond Interchange Design-Build Project. Goochland DDI (123919). These improvements include reconfiguration and widening of Ashland Road, construction of a new bridge over I-64, widening and reconstruction of four ramps, drainage, stormwater management, signs, signals, lighting, and pavement markings. The project will also relocate the intersection of Bennington Road and Ashland Road by approximately 675 feet to the north, and relocate the Hickory Haven Park and Ride lot to the southwest quadrant of the I-64 interchange. Please note that the Hickory Haven Park and Ride is bundled with the DDI and has its own project number identifiers. This design-build project will be administered by the VDOT Richmond District Mega Projects Office.The project-specific contract will have a maximum value of $5,000,000The solicitation information and documents are available at www.bidexpress.com.
