Summary
The Bridgeton Board of Education is seeking competitive proposals from qualified respondents to provide Professional Development (PD) on the Orton Gillingham method of instruction for K-4 teachers.
B. SCOPE OF SERVICE
The district expects to award to an agency with a proven track record training teachers on the Orton Gillingham method of instruction. Teachers participating in the training shall be determined by the Bridgeton school district.
The Consultant shall provide:
- All teacher materials including training manual, assessment manual and necessary teaching materials for successful implementation of instruction.
- 30 hours of comprehensive training on the Orton Gillingham method of instruction for 10 teachers.
- 30 hours of morphology training centered on the Orton Gillingham method of instruction for 10 teachers.
