Replace Warehouse Lighting, Bldg. 140, NAS Lemoore, CA

1.3 WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS

1.3.1 Project Description The work includes retrofit existing lighting with new LED Lighting at all of the 5 priority areas in the warehouse building 140. The following is the description of the work at these 5 priority areas:

1. Remove and dispose approximately (700) lights fixtures, in priority areas 1-5 with a combination of low bay and high bay lights.

2. Furnish and install structure to move the location of the existing lights fixtures to the center of the rows and aisle ways.

3. Use existing structures in priority areas 1-5 to mount the new light fixtures according to the Contract Drawings

4 Use existing conduit and wire, and circuits feeding existing light fixtures to feed the new light fixtures.

5 Furnish and install approximately (360)Light Emitting Diode(LED)with Circular Pie-Shaped(UFO) high bay lights, all with motion sensors. Provide an additional 5% light fixtures to the proposal ((16) LED UFO high bays).

6 New Lights to be mounted above parts rows, and aisle ways.

7 Remove and cap off light switches controlling existing lights.

8 Dispose of approximately 1980 fluorescent lamps as hazardous.

9 All new UFO LED lighting must be controlled by occupant sensors.

10 Coordinate with facilities management service (FMS) for warehouse sensor zone setting.

1.3.2 Location The work is located at Naval Air Station Lemoore building 140 (NASL), approximately as indicated on the Contract drawings (if provided). The exact location will be shown by the Construction Manager (CM).
