1. Purpose & Scope

The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract for the purchase and delivery of heavy-duty, commercial-grade utility vehicles (UTVs). These units will be integrated into a fleet tasked with maintaining expansive institutional grounds and heavy cargo transport.

• Acreage Target: The vehicles will be deployed to support a total maintenance area of 1,000 acres.


• Operators: Rotating, multi-employee crew with varied experience levels, high structural impact exposure, and field operating conditions.


• Primary Failure Risk: Extreme thermal load, continuous drive strain, and dusty environments.

4. Core Technical Specifications

All submitted equipment must meet or exceed the following specific technical parameters:

• Engine Configuration: 15.5 hp air-cooled four-cycle gas engine with 41.2 cu in. displacement.


• Drivetrain & Transmission: Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) and mechanically activated differential lock.


• Capacities: Minimum 600.0 lb. cargo box capacity and 1000.0 lb. towing/payload capacities.


• Brakes & Suspension: All-wheel hydraulic disc brakes and independent front/semi-independent rear suspension.


• Quantity: Total number of units required is 3.


• Quality Control Plan (QCP): Submission of an operator training and equipment maintenance QCP is completely optional and will not alter the evaluation baseline.

5. Mandatory Warranty Requirements

To protect against rapid hour accumulation during the contract period, all bids must provide comprehensive commercial warranty coverage that meets or exceeds the following threshold:

• Required Coverage: The unit must possess a commercial warranty of at least 12 months or 1,000 hours (whichever comes first). Bids offering less than this standard baseline coverage limitation will be disqualified.
