AMHS ALASKA CLASS FERRY (ACF) TAZLINA CREW QUARTERS

Fund Construction modifications to the M/V Tazlina to incorporate sleeping quarters for up to 24 persons, add 8 single person staterooms on the Bridge Deck, and 8 two]person staterooms on
the Upper Deck. Additional work includes the installation of a Galley; Scullery; Mess Spaces on the Upper Deck; modify the EGR Fuel System; a new Fan Room on the Bridge Deck; modifications to the existing
passenger dining area; extensions to the existing port stair tower to provide Crew access to the Bridge Deck; construct storage and office on the Passenger Deck; modify Passenger Deck Childrens Play Area;
perform coatings and protection upgrades; and perform State Funded Annual Overhaul Work and upgrades. Following removals required for construction, the vessel shall be modified by addition of the new
structure, piping, electrical, toilet/shower modules, lighting fixtures, ceiling, wall insulation and linings, deck coverings, furniture, galley equipment and fixtures necessary to accommodate the revised vessel
arrangement. All ancillary work required to complete the modifications shall be included in this project. The department requests authorization to use funds for in-state and out-of-state travel to manage construction at a shipyard.
