The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to solicit competitive bids from qualified contractors for the renovation of the Department for the Blind and Vision Impairedâ s Library and Resource Center, located at 395 Azalea Avenue in Richmond, Virginia. The project involves renovating a one story, 51,558 square foot building and constructing a small 235 square foot addition. Work includes updating all major building systems, fire sprinkler, fire alarm, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical as well as completing minor site improvements, all in accordance with the plans and specifications provided.
