DESCRIPTION - DEMOLITION

__________________________________________________________________

This structure contains asbestos. In accordance with NESHAP asbestos

abatement requirements, the awarded contractor must ensure that all

asbestos containing materials are removed and disposed of by a State licensed

asbestos abatement professional. Contractors may elect to perform a

NESHAP compliant wet demolition, but the asbestos must still be properly

removed and disposed of by a licensed abatement professional following

completion of the wet demolition.

Upon completion of the project, the Contractor must provide the City of

Valdosta with a copy of the approved Asbestos & Demolition Project

Notification form, waste tickets, and/or documentation of proper disposal for

all asbestos containing materials. All handling, removal, disposal, and

reporting must comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
