Summary

Major work includes demolition of the existing bridge structures; construction of new bridges over the Boise River and Ridenbaugh Canal; construction of a single-lane roundabout at the intersection of Eckert Road and Boise Avenue; and reconstruction of roadway approaches. Additional improvements include construction of a multi-use pathway along the west side of Eckert Road between the Boise River Greenbelt and Boise Avenue. Construction of a Greenbelt underpass beneath Eckert Road connecting the existing and future Greenbelt with the Dallas Harris Legacy Walkway, and modifications to the Barber Park driveway access. The project also includes roadway excavation and embankment, pavement construction, curb, gutter, sidewalks, retaining walls, drainage improvements, irrigation and utility adjustments, traffic control, permanent signing and pavement markings, illumination, landscaping, erosion and sediment control, environmental protection measures, and all other work necessary to complete the project in accordance with plans and specifications.

All work involving irrigation and/or bridge work shall be completed in accordance with the NMID Approval Letter 07/16/2026, in the "Attachments" section, unless otherwise approved by the irrigation district.
