County of St. Paul No. 19
The County also requires mixing up to 2,000 tonnes of patching material with half being stockpiled in the Richland Pit and the remainder stockpiled in the County’s yard at 5618-57 Street in St. Paul. Batches of patching material to be mixed in batches no larger than 1,000 tonnes.
All gravel and oil (sales or refined) shall be supplied by the County of St. Paul. The tender price must include the use of the proponent’s own loader to feed the proponent’s own mixer, as well as the mobilization and demobilization costs, and any freight charges.
The proponent will have mixing capabilities to supply a product that adheres to the County’s engineering mix design. The gravel must be dried before mixing and the oil temperature must be consistently maintained at a minimum temperature of 125°F going into the mixer. The final product must be between 190°F and 210°F. The volume of production will be controlled by the County.
