ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

JACKSON COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
JACKSON COUNTY, MS

General Notice:

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids or electronic will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Jackson County,
Mississippi until 12:00 noon (CT) on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, and said bids are to be opened and read aloud at
1:00 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors' Meeting Room located in the Jackson County Services Building, 2915 Canty
Street, Pascagoula, MS 39567.

Envelopes containing the bid must be sealed, addressed to The Clerk of the Board, and designated as a bid
for the following items described, to wit:

RECREATION IMPROVEMENTS AT
WEST JACKSON COUNTY SOCCER COMPLEX

The Project includes the following Work:
General site grading, installation of storm drainage, sidewalks, curb and gutter, asphalt paving and
striping, and nine (9) pickleball courts.

Contractors have the option of submitting their bids sealed in an envelope or electronically through

Printing at 662-407-0193. If a sealed envelope bid is submitted by mail, the post office address of the Chancery
Clerk of Jackson County, c/o Purchasing Department, is P.O. Box 998, Pascagoula, MS 39568-0998. Bids may be
delivered to Joshua Eldridge, Chancery Clerk, c/o Pure! 'asing Department, 2915 Canty Street, Suite D, Pascagoula,
MS 39567. All bid envelopes should contain the bidder's name and mailing address on the face of the envelope and
also specify the name of the bid item. Bidder's certificate of responsibility number or a statement that the bid inside
is less than $50,000.00 shall appear on the outside or exterior of the envelope or container of such bids, failing
which, said bid shall not be opened or considered.

When submitting an electronic bid, the bid must be submitted in "pdf" format and shall contain the same
information and forms as required for the paper bids. Electronic bids must be secured with a bid bond. When
submitting a bid electronically, the authorized signature shall be an electronic signature or handwritten in blue-ink
signature. In the event that an electronically submitted bid has a corrupted attachment, the bid will be considered
null and void. When bids are submitted electronically, the requirement for including a certificate of Tesponsibility, or
a Statement that the bid enclosed does not exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), on the exterior of the bid
envelope shall be deemed in compliance by including the same information as an attachment with the electronic bid
submittal.

Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders must register with the
designated website as a plan holder. All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for registration, The
designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other
information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding
Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for
Bidding Documents, including addenda, if, any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. All bid
documents must be purchased through the website. The cost of bid documents is non-refundable. For information

For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the
Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.

The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids not conforming to the intent and Purpose of the specifications,
and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which, however, shall not extend beyond 90 days
from the bid opening date.
