Provision and Installation of St. Francis Playground

Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools, as represented by Corporate Services, is requesting quotations from qualified proponents, for the provision and installation of one (1) playground at the new awâsisak kâ-nîmîtohcik St. Francis School, located at 2010 7th Street East in Saskatoon, Sk, as per documents within.

The journey of St. Frances Cree Bilingual School began with four visionary matriarchs—mothers who believed deeply that their children deserved the very best education, grounded in a nêhiyaw (Cree) worldview. Their voices echoed through the community, bringing attention to the growing need for a new school facility that could support the increasing number of students. Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools recognized this population growth, and together with the wisdom of Elders and the guidance of community members, the vision began to take shape. The Elders and community have been a constant source of light and guidance throughout the entire process—from the initial concept to the design details, and even in the careful selection of building materials. Their teachings and direction have been central every step of the way. This vision was further brought to life by the passion of the architectural team and the commitment of the construction company. Together, through strong relationships and shared purpose, they invested fully in creating what is now awâsisak kâ-nîmîtohcik St. Francis Cree Bilingual School—a place where children are cherished, language is honoured, and the future is bright.

CLOSING DATE AND TIME

The Quotation, signed and dated by the Proponent’s authorized representative, must be received by the Issuing Office (see Section 7. – Issuing Office) electonically not later than 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST) on April 23, 2025 and marked “RFQ # CS.503.030425: Provision and Installation of St. Francis School Playground”. All Quotations shall be electronically date and time stamped upon receipt by the Issuing Office. In the case of a date and/or time dispute the Issuing Office’s date and time clock will govern.

Quotations received after the deadline date and time will not be considered. Quotations will only be accepted by email. It is the responsibility of the Proponent to ensure the successful transmission of the Quotation to the email address identified in Section 7. – Issuing Office.
