Description
In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 10.002(b)(2), this Sources Sought Notice is for market research and informational purposes only at this time and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
This notice serves to survey the market to ascertain whether-or-not sources are capable of providing requested supply/services. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 is seeking sources for the following procurement: Accreditation and Proficiency Testing Supplies and Services for the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. This notice allows potential contractors/vendors to submit a non-binding statement of interest and documentation demonstrating their capability.
The contractor must hold and maintain a certificate of accreditation from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), as meeting the requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) of 1988 and must hold and maintain accreditation by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) to perform the services.
This Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification(s) (Service Disabled/Veteran Owned Small Business (SD/VOSB), Hub zone, 8(a), small, small disadvantaged, woman owned small business, or large business) relative to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541380 with a size standard of $19 million. The proposed contract will be a Blanket Purchase Agreement as a 1 year base plus four, twelve month option year periods.
