The intent and purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified, professionally trained sources for the provision of horseback riding services as outlined herein to the University of Mary Washington (UMW or the University), an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Services shall include use of the facility and staff for coaching, participation in and hosting of Intercollegiate Horseshow Association (IHSA) shows, use of facility horses, as well as boarding of horses for those students who choose to bring their own. The facility shall be equipped to host IHSA shows for UMW hosted events.
