INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) No. 027-002

WOODBRIDGE STATION EAST ELEVATOR MODERNIZATION

The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish a Contract with one (1) qualified and experienced Contractor to modernize the east elevator, which is situated within the parking garage, serving five (5) floors, at the VRE Woodbridge Station, located at 1040 Express Way, Woodbridge, Virginia 22191.

Bids will be considered from qualified and experienced companies who are regularly established in the business of providing elevator modernization and in the judgment of VRE are financially responsible. Through prior work performed, Bidders must be able to show evidence of reliability, ability, and experience to perform the work.

Please be advised that it is your responsibility to monitor this site for any addenda.  Failure to submit signed addenda may be grounds to declare your Bid non-responsive.

Any changes to the solicitation as a result of the pre-bid meeting and/or site visit will be issued through a written addendum to the solicitation.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit to discuss the requirements of the IFB will be held for prospective Bidders on September 30, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time (ET).

Bids are due October 22, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. ET.
