Summary

Sarasota County Intends to award a sole source procurement with Orange Data Systems for MuniConnect platform.

In the event respondents demonstrate the ability to supply the same or substantially similar products and/or services, the County may, in its sole discretion, elect to cancel this sole source and advertise a competitive solicitation.

The County is not interested in responses from respondents not authorized by Orange Data Systems for MuniConnect platform to sell these products to the County.

Background

Per correspondence from Orange Data Systems dated October 9, 2025, Orange Data Systems is the exclusive provider of the MuniConnect platform.
Any vendor who believes they can provide the products described in the attached sole source documentation should respond to this ISS by the date specified. To be considered, vendors must complete the attached Intent to Sole Source Response form (under “documents”) and respond to this solicitation by clicking “place offer”. If applicable, upload documentation to support your position.
