RUGGIERI SENIOR CENTER GENERATOR UPGRADE PROJECT, CITY PROJECT NO. 18-17

Sealed proposals for the work shown on the plans entitled: RUGGIERI SENIOR CENTER GENERATOR UPGRADE PROJECT, CITY PROJECT NO. 18-17, will be received at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Union City, City Government Building, 34009 Alvarado-Niles Road, Union City, California, until Tuesday, November 12, 2024, 1:30PM PST, at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Council Chambers of said building.

General Work Description: The project is to replace the existing emergency generator at Ruggieri Senior Center located at 33997 Alvarado-Niles Road, in the City of Union City, California.  The work generally includes the removal of existing fence, generator and footing, concrete path, main switchboard, automatic transfer switch, and associated conduit and feeder; abandon and cap existing gas service connections; construction of concrete masonry unit wall, generator footing and concrete path; installation of generator set, manual transfer switch, automatic transfer switch, docking station, distribution panel, electrical meter main with breaker, splice boxes, pull boxes and associated conductors and conduits; testing, inspection and documentation as required; coordinate with new service upgrade and construction with PG&E; provide temporary power and/or un-interruptible power supply to avoid any potential of power interruption; clean and maintain jobsite and demobilize.
