BID PACKAGES 27-01 / 27-02 / 27-03 - District Wide Improvements 2027
L'Anse Creuse Public Schools is requesting Bid proposals for renovations at ten [10] LCPS Buildings.
Bid proposals must be received online through BuildingConnected, or by mail, no later than 1:00 PM local
time on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. Mailed proposals must be sealed, clearly labeled with the bid package
number, and addressed to the attention of Patrick Ward at the Harry L. Wheeler Community Center and
Administrative Offices located at 24076 F.V. Pankow Boulevard, Clinton Township, MI 48036. Emailed and
faxed proposals will not be accepted. Proposals shall be based on the requirements set forth in the Project
Manual dated September 8, 2026.
Bid proposals will be publicly opened on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 1:05 PM at the Harry L. Wheeler
Community Center and Administrative Offices and evaluated by the Owner, Barton Malow, and the Design
Team. The School Board will not accept any bid submitted after the stated Due Date and Time. The Board
reserves the right to reject any or all Bid proposals, in whole or in part; to waive any informality or irregularity
in bidding; to accept Bid Alternates; and to award a contract in any manner the Board, in its sole discretion,
deems to be in the Board's best interest.
A Pre-Bid conference will be held over two days starting at the Larry F. Brender Support Services Center: Day
1 on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 2:00 PM and Day 2 on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 2:00 PM.
A pre-bid walk-through will follow each conference at 2:30 PM. Bidders who cannot attend in person may join
the conference through Microsoft Teams. To request the Teams link or to schedule a site visit, contact Drew
Gardner at drew.gardner@bartonmalow.com. Bid documents will be available through BuildingConnected on
or after Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
Bidders are required to submit bid security in accordance with MCL 380.1267, issued by a qualified surety
authorized to do business in the State of Michigan. Each bid proposal must also include a completed Iran
Economic Sanctions Act affidavit (MCL 129.311) and a sworn and notarized Familial Disclosure Affidavit (MCL
380.1267) disclosing any familial relationship between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any
member of the Board or the Superintendent of the school district. Bid proposals that do not include the sworn
and notarized Familial Disclosure Affidavit will not be accepted.
