The Kenton County Airport Board (“KCAB”) is soliciting bids for Polymers for use at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (“CVG”). The polymers are utilized in the biological treatment at the Stormwater Treatment Plant (SWTP) which is designed for the removal of spent aircraft deicing fluid. The polymers are added to the process at specific points to aid in removal of solids and sludge from the treatment system. This is accomplished by addition of the polymers to facilitate the coagulation/flocculation process and subsequent removal of sludge.
