Description
This Request for Proposal issued by the Halifax Regional Municipality is for the provision of professional services to conduct an Active School Travel Baseline and Program Options Study. The purpose of this study is to assess the feasibility and potential benefits of active school travel across HRM, identify priority schools and infrastructure improvements, and recommend program options to support walking, cycling, and other forms of active transportation for school-based trips. The study will include stakeholder engagement, data collection, and analysis to inform future program development and implementation.
