intersection improvements favors installation of a single lane roundabout at this location.

Professional Engineering Design Services for Winn Road at South Paulding High School Driveway
Intersection Improvement Project
Proposals will be received no later than 10:00 AM EST in the Finance Department – Purchasing Division,
2nd floor, 240 Constitution Boulevard, Dallas, GA 30132. Proposals received after the designated time will
not be considered. The OWNER of the project is the Paulding County Board of Commissioners.
The approximate extent and character of the Work is generally described as follows:
Paulding County is soliciting Qualification-Based Proposals for engineering design services for
an intersection improvement project at Winn Road (CR 268) and South Paulding High School
in unincorporated Paulding County. The project must be designed to achieve at least a Level
of Service “C” 20 years from the base / open year. Initial evaluation of alternatives for
intersection improvements favors installation of a single lane roundabout at this location.
Proposers shall inform themselves concerning Georgia Law and comply with same.
To obtain a full copy of the RFP, submit a written request via email to purchase@paulding.gov stating your
name, company and contact information. The telephone number to the Purchasing Department is 770-443-
7512. There is no charge to request this proposal.
Each proposal requires two (2) submittals per package. The Technical Proposals (1 unbound original, 5 bound
copies and an electronic version) must be completed and submitted in a SEALED ENVELOPE, addressed to
the OWNER. Each sealed envelope containing a Proposal must be plainly marked on the outside as, RFP #
26016-1509 Engineering Design Services for Winn Road at South Paulding High School driveway
Intersection Improvement Project and include on the envelope the due date and time along with the
company or individual submitting the proposal.
The Cost Proposal (1 hard copy) must be completed and submitted in a SEALED ENVELOPE, addressed to
the OWNER. Each sealed envelope containing a Proposal must be plainly marked on the outside as, RFP #
26016-1509 Professional Engineering Design Services for Winn Road at South Paulding High School
driveway Intersection Improvement Project – Cost Proposal, and include on the envelope the due date
and time along with the company or individual submitting the proposal.
If the proposal is forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the proposal must be enclosed in a
separate mailing envelope to the attention of the OWNER at the address previously given.
Paulding County will consider the competency and responsibility of bidders in making the award. The
Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act Affidavit form must be submitted with all bid packages.
Paulding County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive informalities and technicalities, to
reject portions of the proposals, and to award contracts in a manner consistent with the County and the laws
governing the State of Georgia.
