Description: The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) requires a Contractor for up to 32 acres of tree cutting and forestry mowing on Connecticut Hill Wildlife Management Area (WMA). The overall goal of this project is to create a wider and expanded shrubland and young forest area around existing fields to offer improved nesting and brood rearing habitat for species such as ruffed grouse, wild turkey and many others. Pursuant to the State Finance Law Sections 139-j and 139-k, this RFQ includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between a Governmental Entity and a Potential Proposer during the procurement process. Quoters shall adhere to the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation guidelines regarding permissible contacts during a procurement and the prohibition of inappropriate lobbying influence.
