Statement of Work

Contract Title. Brand name or equal 2025 John Deere Gator XUV875M (Diesel) HVAC (2)

Background.

The Canandaigua Engineering Department is in need of two (2) brand name or equal 2025 John Deere Gator XUV875M diesel Utility Vehicles for use on the Canandaigua facility to assist the work load and maintenance needs of the Facilities Management Department.

Scope.

The Canandaigua Engineering Department has a requirement to procure three (2) brand name or equal model year 2025 John Deere Gator XUV875M HVAC (diesel). The John Deere Gator XUV875M (diesel) or equal will meet the height, width and weight requirements necessary to perform many different jobs on station that will increase production for the department. The John Deere Gator XUV875M (Diesel) or equal must be well-suited for various tasks like transportation, maintenance, and hauling equipment or supplies. It s compact size, off-road capability, and utility features make it convenient for navigating diverse campus environments. With many buildings on the 210 acre, 6.7 miles of roadway and 4.2 miles of sidewalk the 2025 John Deere Gator or equal will decrease the lead time it takes for Canandaigua Engineering Department on the numerous calls they receive daily. It must have the ability to quickly switch between the VA Finger Lakes Health Care Systems several owned John Deere attachments for the John Deere Gator XUV875M HVAC (diesel) which the facility currently owns several of these models. All preventative maintenance will be based on the maintenance parts the facility currently owns and stocks with Generic Inventory Principles (GIP) in the Engineering Tool Crib for the John Deere Gator XUV875M or equal. These attachments and replacement parts must be compatible as described in Section 6, Salient Characteristics. Our campus style facility needs to ensure cost effectiveness by utilizing existing attachments and replacement parts compatible with the current model John Deere Gator XUV875M, avoiding unnecessary expenses on new, expensive attachments and replacement parts.
