Description
The contract will provide psychiatric services at YY PCBC in Edmonton, Alberta, supporting youth in both Secure and Open Services programs. Responsibilities include conducting weekly in-person visits for assessments, triage, screening, and care, as well as prescribing medications and evaluating stability. Additionally, respond to urgent and emergent psychiatric needs, including medication approvals and assessments under the Mental Health Act. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective intervention strategies and trauma-informed care.
