The New York State Department of Transportation intends to purchase Tree Disposal (R8) via Request for Quotations RQ24-013 pursuant to its discretionary purchasing authority under State Finance Law, Article XI, Section 163(6) and in accordance with New York State Veterans’ Services Law. This procurement opportunity is limited to New York State certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises (SDVOBs) in accordance with Article 3 of the Veterans' Services Law provision for SDVOB set aside procurement opportunities. Firm pricing offers will be accepted until the Quotation due date specified herein from responsive and responsible vendors.
Communication with respect to this procurement initiated by or on behalf of an interested vendor through other than the “Designated Contact Person(s)” identified below may constitute an “impermissible contact” under state law with respect to Procurement Lobbying, and could result in disqualification of that vendor.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS Effective December 30, 2024, no Contractor may submit a bid for public work in New York State unless they are registered with the NYS Department of Labor. Bids received from unregistered Contractors shall be deemed Non-responsive. Additionally, no Subcontractor may commence work on a public work project unless they are registered with the NYS Department of Labor.
