Scope of Work:
Painting and sealing the exterior of the Main Building. Work includes thorough cleaning of all exterior surfaces, preparing and applying paint to soffits, exterior doors and frames, guardrails, structural columns and beams, grilles, and louvers. The contractor shall remove and replace existing caulking and backer rods at all exterior joints. Additionally, the contractor shall remove and replace emergency response signage.
Contractor’s Licenses:
It is WCSD's opinion that the scope of work for this project qualifies for the following license groups: Specialty License A23 or C4 if the bidder is performing the majority of the work per NRS 338.139.
If a Contractor would like to seek clarification from the Nevada State Contractor’s Board, then they must do so ten (10) days prior to the bid due date. https://www.nvcontractorsboard.com/
Sealed bids for the Exterior Painting and Sealing of Main Building at Jesse Hall Elementary School will be received by the Washoe County School District’s (WCSD) Purchasing Department located at the Brown Center 14101 Old Virginia Road, Room #0, Reno, NV 89521, until 2:00 p.m., (Local Time) on April 22, 2026. The bids will be opened publicly via a TEAMS Meeting at 2:30 pm (local time).

There will be a NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting held at 3:00 p.m. on April 8, 2026, at Jesse Hall Elementary School (Meet in Front of the Office) 185 Shelby Drive, Sparks, NV, 89436. Due to access and coordination involved in this project we highly recommend that contractors walk the project site that we are making available.
