Synopsis Description:
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO), Western Acquisition Division (WAD) Boulder, CO Branch intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase order utilizing the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12 and FAR Subpart 13.5. The Government intends to procure Aerial Surveys as part of the Southeast U.S. (SEUS) Early Warning System (EWS) for North Atlantic right whales for National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Southeast Regional Office (SERO), Protected Resources Division.
The planned Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is 1305M325Q0092. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 541370, Surveying and Mapping (except Geophyiscal) Services, which has a corresponding size standard of $19 million. The solicitation will be issued as Unrestricted (Full & Open Competition). Note that the response date of April 9, 2025 is the anticipated closing date for the final solicitation. The complete RFQ package is expected to be released on or around March 12, 2025 on SAM.gov. The proposed purchase order is anticipated to be awarded on or around June 13, 2025 and the period of performance is anticipated to be a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available for download at the above site; this office will not issue hard copy solicitations. By submission of a quote, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at https://sam.gov/content/home.
