TO ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS:
The following questions were submitted by potential bidders. Our answers are listed
below in red:
1. When submitting the sealed bid package, are copies and a thumb drive required
also?
Your sealed bid package does not require additional copies or a thumb drive.
2. It was said that if you’re LOSB, there wasn’t a need to complete form B.
If you’ve been certified as an LOSB and received an LOSB number, there’s no
need to complete Form B. Completing Form A with your company’s current
LOSB information meets the designated 20% goal.
3. Please provide the sign in sheet from the mandatory pre bid meeting.

4. Please provide a copy of the previous bid tab.
Copies of bid tabs can only be obtained by submitting a public records request
through our County Attorney’s office.
5. What is the budget for this contract?
The budget for the contract cannot be disclosed.
6. Is E-Verify required of all bidders and, if not, why not?
The vendor, by submission of its bid, acknowledges that it is in compliance with
said Immigration and Naturalization Service’s regulations and shall upon request
show proof of same.
7. What depth should mulch be installed at once per year?
Mulch should be installed between the depth of 4-6 inches.
8. Please provide site maps with boundary lines for each location so all bidders are
aware of extents to be maintained at each location.
Site maps were given during the pre-bid meeting to everyone in attendance.
9. Please confirm that no bonds are required for this bid.
Bonds were not requested in the bid.
10. If bonds are required for this bid, please specify what bonds are required and the
required percentages.

11. Please specify the months of the growing season.
There are no set months for the growing seasons, therefore the lawns must be
maintained properly for the full term of the contract.
12. Please confirm that the per month pricing on the bid tab should reflect 12 months
of billing.
Per month pricing should reflect the per month invoicing amount.
