The City of Rock Island is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for the replacement of an outdated fire hydrant and air gap system with a reduced pressure zone (RPZ) backflow preventer and water meter. The work will take place inside the control building at the Franciscan Storage Treatment Basin, located at 3001 17th Street, Rock Island, IL.
