Synopsis:

|
Submissions clearly marked for either a new or used Excavator in the 210 to 250 long carriage class ("Excavator") and a new or used Dozer in the 37,000 to 45,000 pound class ("Dozer"), will be received by the Rural Municipality of Longlaketon No. 219, via email at rm219@sasktel.net, no later than 9:00 am Central Standard Time, on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
The RM is seeking firm pricing for supply and delivery of:

A New or Used Excavator in the 210 to 250 long carriage class with horsepower between 150 to 190 hp with a Service Maintenance Agreement (SMA) included.

A New or Used Dozer in the 37,000 to 45,000 pound class with horsepower between 160 to 200 hp with a Service Maintenance Agreement (SMA) included.
There will not be a public opening.

The RM requires one (1) Excavator for seasonal work on their roads. The equipment class will fall within the 210 to 250 long carriage class and be between 150 to 190 horsepower. The "Service Maintenance" term is to be 5 years or 10,000 service hours, whichever occurs first.
The RM requires one (1) Dozer for seasonal work on their roads. The equipment class will fall within the 37,000 to 45,000 pound class and be between 160 to 200 horsepower. The "Service Maintenance" term is to be 5 years or 10,000 service hours, whichever occurs first.
The desired specifications set forth the requirements for a Excavator and Dozer are expected to perform in all weather conditions with seasonal extremes ranging from -20 degrees Celsius to +40 degrees Celsius.
The Excavator and Dozer shall be equipped with all the manufactuer's equipment and accessories which are included as standard in the advertised and published literature for the unit. No such item of equipment or accessories shall be removed or omitted for the reason that is was not speified in the RFP.
The successful proponent is to provide a shop for repair work within a 160 kilometre distance.
The successful proponent is to provide manuals, catalogues and spare parts.
